Opuntia Vestita Cristata also known as old man cactus or Cotton Cactus is an unusual and hard to find cactus that can be grown as a potted or hanging plant. It produces numerous red flowers in late summer. A very furry plant, it requires very little pampering to become established. In fact, more Cotton Cactus die from too much care and watering than from neglect. Make sure you give your Opuntia Vestita Cristata well-draining soil and lots of sunlight. It's a perfect plant for urban living and a really beautiful and striking plant.
Low-maintenance and an excellent choice for anyone new to growing houseplants. The Cotton Cactus will thrive as long as it's water only when it's completely dry and kept in a warm and sunny spot.
