Native to South American tropical foreststhids plant loves humidity. In winter Caladium may go dormant and slowly die back to tubers, once the leaves are spent, cut them off, store in a dark, dry space over winter and stop watering until next spring. In ideal environments Caladium can be kept active year long.
- Light: Bright indirect light, midday sun will burn leaves
- Water: Keep moist but not soggy. Mist to increase humidity or keep this sitting on a saucer of pebbles topped up with water
- Soil: Well draining potting mix

Measurements: The plant heights provided encompass the plant stem and the foliage length, along with the depth of the grow pot, which includes the living root system, and not just the portion of the plant that is visible above the soil level.
