ADD A BEAUTIFUL FITTED POT (OPTIONAL)
This is a beautiful and unusual vining plant that has changing and random leaf shapes as it matures depending on the amount of light. It makes a very unusual hanging or vining plant as it can grow up or down or along a shelf!
The natural habitat of Epipremnum Pinnatum is dense rainforests where it will grow up trees as a vine. The young leaves are heart-shaped, but as the plant matures they become palm-shaped and holes form in the leave like a cheese plant. The leaves are a gorgeous dark green.
Interestingly the leaves of Epipremnum pinnatum are used to blacken the teeth in some island cultures in the pacific.
These plants aren’t hard to look after, they will thrive in the shade which makes them ideal if you have no experience of looking after houseplants. It also means they aren’t hard to situate in your home, they will love any corner of any room really, in the sun or in the shade.
This plant is not the Cebu blue form which is beautiful but in our experience is harder to grow than this dark green form and best left for more experienced owners.
If you are giving the Epipremnum pinnatum as a gift to a plant lover, make sure you include your message at the basket stage. We’ll deliver the houseplant along with a free, handwritten card - and we’ll leave out the paperwork with the price on!
